Choosing an order-confirmation service in Morocco: billing, the call, languages, follow-ups and tracking
Contents

In Short

A good order-confirmation service in Morocco is judged on what it costs you per delivered order, not per call or per confirmation. Before you choose, check five things: how fast the first contact happens, who actually confirms (a call or a message), which languages the operators speak, how many follow-ups happen over several days, and what happens once the order is confirmed. Then ask every provider the 12 questions in the checklist below.

In the interest of transparency: MyLeadDone is one of those providers. We apply the same checklist to our own offer at the end of this article.

Should You Outsource Confirmation?

Confirming orders yourself works while volume stays small: a few orders a day, a phone, some time. Beyond that, three things break at once: call-backs stop happening on time, unreachable customers get forgotten, and nobody follows the parcels after dispatch. A confirmation company brings a team, a call-back cadence and tracking — as long as you choose it well.

So the real question is not "should I outsource?" but "to whom, and on what terms?".

The Criteria That Actually Matter

1. How you are billed

You will come across four models: per call or attempt, per confirmed order, a monthly subscription plus a per-confirmation fee, and per delivered order. They only compare once you bring them back to the same result: the order that was delivered and paid for. An offer that is cheaper per confirmation can cost more per delivery if it lets more returns through. Our pricing page explains the four models, and the cost-per-delivered-order calculator lets you compare with your own figures.

2. Who confirms: a call or a message?

An "ok" on WhatsApp is not a decision. A message alone lets incomplete addresses, wrong variants and impulse orders slip through. A call from an operator confirms intent, corrects the address and answers objections. WhatsApp is still very useful — to announce the call, follow up and remind the customer on delivery day — but ask clearly what actually confirms the order. We explain this split of roles in our guide to confirming COD orders on WhatsApp.

3. The operators' languages

Your customers speak Darija, Arabic or French — often a mix of all three. An operator who cannot follow the conversation loses the order. Ask which languages the team really speaks on the phone, not just on the website.

4. The follow-up cadence

One call is not enough: customers are at work, driving, or screening unknown numbers. Ask for exact figures: how many calls a day, for how many days, at what times, and whether weekends are covered. "Several attempts" means nothing until it is a number.

5. What happens after confirmation

A confirmed order is not yet a delivered order. Who creates the shipment with the delivery company? Who calls the customer back when the courier cannot find them? Who handles claims? A provider that stops at confirmation leaves you with the most expensive part: the returns.

6. Visibility and your data

You should be able to see the status of every order — confirmed, unreachable, cancelled, shipped, delivered — without asking for a report by email. Also ask who owns your customers' data, and how risky numbers (repeated refusals, fake numbers) are flagged before dispatch.

7. The contract

Minimum commitment, setup fees, minimum volume, notice period: read these lines before you compare prices. Ideally you can test the service on a few real orders before committing.

The Checklist: 12 Questions to Ask

Ask every provider these questions and write the answers side by side. Be wary of vague answers.

  1. How quickly do you call a new order?
  2. Is the order confirmed by a call or by a message?
  3. Do your operators speak Darija, Arabic and French?
  4. How many calls a day, for how many days, and at what times?
  5. What am I billed for: the call, the confirmed order, a subscription or the delivered order?
  6. What does an order cost me if it is confirmed, then refused at the door?
  7. Is your "delivery rate" calculated on orders received or on confirmed orders?
  8. What happens after confirmation: shipment creation, tracking, claims?
  9. Which delivery companies and which platforms do you work with?
  10. Can I see the status of every order at any time?
  11. Is there a commitment, a minimum number of orders or a setup fee?
  12. Can I test the service on a few orders before committing?

When a Confirmation Service Is Not for You

Outsourcing is not always the right call. It is probably too early if:

  • you only get a few orders a day and have time to call every customer yourself;
  • your customers pay online when they order: there is no COD risk to confirm;
  • your margin per order is so thin that no confirmation cost fits — then the problem is your selling price, not confirmation.

FAQ: Choosing an Order-Confirmation Service in Morocco

What is the best order-confirmation company in Morocco?
There is no single answer: the best one is the provider that answers the 12 questions best for your volume, your niche and your delivery companies. Compare offers on the cost per delivered order, not on the price per call.
How much does an order-confirmation service cost in Morocco?
It depends on how it bills: per call, per confirmed order, by subscription or per delivered order. To compare, bring every offer back to the cost per delivered order, returns included. At MyLeadDone it is 10 MAD per delivered order.
Is a call center better than an automation tool?
A tool sends messages fast but does not confirm a real decision; a call center confirms but has to be organised and supervised. The most effective setup combines both: automated messages to inform, calls to confirm.
How do I compare two confirmation offers?
Work out the cost per delivered order: (service cost + cost of your returns) ÷ orders actually delivered. The MyLeadDone calculator does this with your own figures.
Should I outsource confirmation from day one?
Not necessarily. With a few orders a day you can confirm them yourself. Outsourcing starts to pay off when call-backs no longer happen on time, unreachable customers pile up, or nobody follows the parcels after dispatch.
